Under the Car ...

No fancy Hoist ? No Problem !
I don't have the luxury of a fancy workshop complete
with hoists, so a friend's tractor was the next best thing.
Front Sub - Clear !
With the car lifted into the air courtesy of the Fiat, the front & rear sub-frames dropped out nicely.
Is it Rust ? Is it Mud ?
A bit of both !
More mud and dirt than anything else, but to make sure, both front & rear sub-frames took turns at the sand blaster.
Mini Disc ... ... without the music !
The only thing I could save was the hub, lower arm and axle, everything else had to be replaced... ...including, disc rotors, bearings, seals, cv joints, boots, disc pads, brake pistons, ball joints and nolythane bushes.
Rear Sub - Done !
Stripped, Sanded, and repainted in gloss black rust inhibitor paint. The actual subframe is the same, but pretty much everthing else was replaced. Including, wheel cylinders, bearings, seals, brake shoes, brake lines, rubber cones & nolythane bushes and fuel pump.

Recon Steering Rack - Done !
The steering rack was in pretty good nick, however it still needed a thorough cleaning inside and out. Once cleaned, I replaced the ball joint ends & boots, plus gave it a good drink of oil.
