First day Home !
The car was FREE, although the 3 day road trip from Carnarvon on 'AutoTrans' carriers cost 3 big ones !
The day it arrived was the first time I had ever
seen it... ...this is what she looked like !

Not pretty - But all there !
Obviously not the original colour and it
doesn't look to flash, but then again it was FREE not to mention - being a Genuine 64 Cooper !

Not a major amount of panel work needed, just enough to keep me busy, for about the next 6 months !

Inside Out !
Before I took posession, the previous owner's
dog thought that a Mk1 Cooper would be a
great dog kennel !
Not any more... ...the interior is set for a
complete overhaul.

Oh boy ! Where do I start ?
It may look fairly sick, but the 998cc engine and gearbox are all original with matching serial numbers.
It may looked siezed up, but in actual fact it was in quite good condition internally.

Complete with 'Period' options !
You may notice the 'Period Option' rear wiper.
Although this may seem pretty cool for a car as
old as this, at the end of the day, it never
came out of the factory with one. So off it comes.
